MMOT Headed to…Switzerland!

Dr. Wheatley will be headed to Switzerland in February to attend the 2020 CAMS-Knee OpenSim workshop. He will be presenting on the collaborative work with Dr. Seeley, focusing on his research from July 2019 while he was at the Stanford University Neuromuscular Biomechanics Lab ( https://nmbl.stanford.edu/ ). Anurag’s Paper on Compressed Muscle Mechanics is Published!

Congratulations to Anurag, whose paper entitled “An experimental and computational investigation of the effects of volumetric boundary conditions on the compressive mechanics of passive skeletal muscle” has been accepted for publication in the Journal of the Mechanical Behavior of Biomedical Materials.

The MMOT planar biaxial materials testing system funded by Dr. Wheatley and Dr. Mineart’s NSF grant has been highlighted by ADMET (the manufacturer of the custom instrument) on their website.
