Hot off the press work published by the group in collaboration with Dr. Seeley at Geisinger, led former lab member Olivia Dyer. The paper, entitled Effects of static exercises on hip muscle fatigue and knee wobble assessed by surface electromyography and inertial measurement unit data, shows that a wall sit is a simple and well-suited activity to test hip muscle fatigability, and shows good promise for using inertial measurement units (IMUs) to estimate muscle fatigue during this activity.
