The proposal, entitled “ERI: A Computational and Experimental Approach to Establishing Multiscale and Multiphasic Structure-Function Mechanisms of Muscle Stiffness” was recently awarded by the National Science Foundation. Funding will enable the MMOT lab to generate multiscale experimental data of passive muscle material properties and develop and validate a multiscale model of muscle tissue!
