Dr. Mark Seeley of Geisinger and Dr. Wheatley were awarded a Bucknell-Geisinger Research Initiative Stage II grant entitled “Characterization and Modeling of Miserable Malalignment Syndrome Lower Limb Biomechanics” to study anterior knee mechanics and lower limb rotational morphology. The grant will support further computational modeling, building off of the previously awarded Stage I grant, as well as the collection of clinical gait data.
Dr. Wheatley will be working closely with Dr. Seeley and other Geisinger clinicians and researchers during his 2019-2020 academic year pre-tenure leave. An exciting time for the lab!
