Margo and Joelle Headed to Pittsburgh to Present at ASME IMECE

MMOT lab undergraduate students Margo Yancey and Joelle Andres-Beck will be presenting their summer research at the 2018 American Society of Mechanical Engineers International Mechanical Engineering Congress & Exposition. The conference is November 9th-14th in Pittsburgh.

Margo’s poster will cover her modeling results investigating the differences in contact mechanics between a typically developing adolescent and an adolescent with a severe bone morphological condition – Nail Patella Syndrome. This work is in collaboration with Dr. Mark Seeley at Geisinger.

Joelle’s poster highlights her work developing and implementing an experimental protocol to test passive skeletal muscle under simple shear.

Way to go Margo and Joelle!
